Celebrating true excellence in businesses that make Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole a great place to visit, live and work!
Back in March, as a result of the escalation of COVID-19 in the UK, the Destination Management Board took the very difficult decision to postpone the Destination Awards ceremony due to take place that month.
At the time it was our intention to hold the event later in the year but in recent weeks it has become increasingly obvious that this is not going to be possible in the foreseeable future given the current ever changing COVID situation.

The Gold, Silver & Bronze awards have now been announced and in conjunction with major sponsor Yellow Buses members of the Destination Management Board have travelled the length of the BCP conurbation by bus to hand out trophies to the successful Gold award winners. Over the next couple of weeks the Silver and Bronze certificates will also be hand delivered.
"We congratulate each and every single one of our winners and hope that this acknowledgement of the fine work they do contributes phenomenally to cementing our destination as a place of high-quality hospitality.”
David Bailey, Chair of the Destination Management Board
"Hand-delivering these awards to these very deserving winners was quite an experience and we’re glad we’ve gone the extra mile to recognise the excellence we have among our industry.”

“2020 has so far been a memorable year and we want to thank everyone who has made these awards a year to remember. . Everyone has worked incredibly hard to ensure the awards are delivered despite challenging circumstances.”
